Ardmore Parish – Pastoral Council Update 17-01-2013

This document provides the parishioners of Ardmore Parish with an update on the activities and role of their Pastoral Council. if you are interested in getting involved in the life of your parish please get in touch. We would encourage you to think of giving up some of your valuable time to play a role in the life of your parish – no matter how small (every little helps!). There are many roles to fill and those who come forward can find a great sense of fulfillment.

In the Parish of Ardmore we have so many wonderful volunteers who clean the church, arrange flowers, put out missals and parish notices and take up the offertory collection, it’s easy to see that without their help we could not do what we do. Eucharistic Ministers and Ministers of the Word play a vital role in the liturgy of the Mass.

We are blessed to have not one! But two choirs who make a fabulous contribution to the liturgy at St Marys Church, and they are always looking for new members to add their voices. The Folk Choir is led by Nicola XXXX and they perform every Saturday evening at the 6:00pm Vigil Mass. The Sunday Choir is led by XXXX XXXX and they provide the choral inspiration to our 11:00 Mass every Sunday.
